You can get cereal bars at the store, or you can customize your own for a healthy snack or breakfast that is inexpensive and exactly to your taste!
In a large bowl combine:
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup nut butter of any kind
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Honey to taste
Optional additions:
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cup dried fruit
- 3 tablespoon jelly
- ½ cup chia seeds
- ¾ cup chopped nuts
- Roll the outside in coconut flakes for an extra touch of sweet and crunchy
Chill mixture.
Roll into one inch balls.
Store in a sealed tupperware in the fridge, or in individual ziplock baggies.
Yield: about one week worth of snacks.
